Stephanie Skrumeda awarded Kerrville Kindness Award
MAYOR RECOGNIZES SKRUMEDA, RICKS AND THE ROTARY CLUB OF KERRVILLE WITH KERRVILLE KINDNESS AWARD
Kerrville Mayor Bill Blackburn recognized Stephanie Skrumeda, Phyllis Ricks and The Rotary Club of Kerrville with the Feb. 22, 2022 Kerrville Kindness Award at Tuesday's city council meeting.
For six years, The Rotary Club of Kerrville’s Stephanie Skrumeda and Phyllis Ricks and a team of Rotary volunteers have been coordinating traditional holiday meals for the Blue Santa program, serving citizens in need. Two years ago, they expanded their efforts to include the Doyle community as well.
In December of 2021, the Rotary Club served holiday meals to 73 families while providing toys for 181 children.
The Kerrville Kindness program offers a sincere “Thank you” to Stephanie, Phyllis and the Rotary Club of Kerrville for their commitment and dedication to serving the Kerrville community.
